KASOLV® AND BRITESIL®: SILICATES FOR REFRACTORY AND INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

In addition to their well-known use in detergents and cleaning agents, sodium and potassium silicates are increasingly being used in special industrial applications and in refractory mixes. They are also of particular interest in special cements and concretes as well as aluminas and ceramic applications. 

The KASOLV® and BRITESIL® silicate are spray-dried, easily water-soluble powders.

The potassium silicate KASOLV® 205 is most suitable when rapid and complete solubility in cold water is desired.

BRITESIL® C 205, a hydrated sodium silicate, is odourless and low in dust during processing.

Both products can be processed in dry mixing without any problems.
