Isopropyl palmitate (IPP), a clear colourless liquid, is chemically an ester of isopropanol and palmitic acid. IPP has rapid spreading properties and can be used as an emulsifier, solvent, humectant and penetration enhancer in creams, lotions, sprays, and gels. IPP also has an influence on the viscosity of the formulation and prevents greasy glossiness on the skin.

Stelliesters IPP complies with the EP and the USP, and can be obtained from us in drums (175 kg) and in IBC (850 kg).
