Phosphatidylserine: Neuroserine®
Neuroserine® is a lecithin-derived phosphatidylserine that can slow, halt or even reverse the decline of cognitive abilities.
As a phospholipid and component of the biological membrane, phosphatidylserine plays a key role in cell communication. Fifty percent of the body's phosphatidylserine is found in the brain. There it supports the synthesis of neurotransmitters, sends and receives electrical impulses, and enables nutrients and oxygen to access brain cells.
Due to age, the level of phosphatidylserine in the body decreases, leading to cognitive decline over time, which manifests itself, for example, in deteriorating memory, lack of concentration or attention difficulties. Neuroserine® is a lecithin-derived phosphatidylserine that can slow, halt or even reverse cognitive decline. In clinical studies, a daily intake of 100 to 300 mg of phosphatidylserine has been shown to improve cognitive abilities.
