GREENPLEX® - 100% NATURAL HAIR STRUCTURING

Frequent colouring, styling with hairdryers and straightening irons, and intensive sunlight can take a serious toll on hair, drying it out and leading to breakage. This can be traced back to changes in the cohesion of the alpha-helical proteins of the hair filaments, which are held together by various chemical attractions such as hydrogen bonds, disulfide bridges, Van-der-Waals forces, and ionic bonds. 

GREENPLEX® is a 100% natural complex – based on sugar beet and malic acid, combined synergistically with a sulfur derivative of a vegetable fatty acid – and provides protection during stressful mechanical actions by forming a film. The product also has an extraordinary regenerative action while leaving the actual protein structure of the hair unmodified. 

Studies have shown that hair breakage in twice-bleached hair could be reduced by 93.8%. By using GREENPLEX®, it was also possible to optimize active ingredient transport in the hair fibres.    

GREENPLEX® can be used on its own or in combination with shampoos, conditioners, hair dyes, and products for styling and heat protection. For optimal results, it is recommended to combine the active ingredient with a cationic substance, such as Greenquat® BT.
